JDS Creative Academy was born out of a deep passion for the arts, and a commitment to making creativity accessible to everyone. Founded by Diane and Scott Strand, who both graduated from California State University, Northridge with degrees in Cinema and Television Arts, JDS brings decades of industry expertise to the local community and beyond. Diane’s experience spans from producing on shows like Friends and General Hospital to working with iconic companies such as Disney and Universal Studios. Scott’s talents in production & post production span from directing to camera work to editing, He is a talents actors working in film, TV, commercial and Theater earning him recognition in Hollywood and throughout Southern California.

At JDS, we believe that creativity is not just an outlet for expression—it’s a powerful tool for personal growth, business growth and community building. Through our programs in visual, performing, and digital arts, we empower students of all ages and backgrounds, to turn their Dreams into Reality for Youth, Teens, Adults mainstream and Special Needs Our mission is to provide hands-on, inclusive training that fosters not only artistic skills but also collaboration, confidence, and communication.
